You take the Computer Tour by viewing its various pages, usually one after the other in sequence. A page is accessed for viewing by clicking on its listing on the Contents page. The tour pages include descriptions and instructions so you can learn about computers and how to use them. Each page also gives access to auxiliary pages which provide help in reinforcing the material you have learned. To provide access to these the following buttons may appear at the bottom of a page.
At the top of each page, just to the left of the title, is shown its status. This status can be a blank (not set), or one of the following letters:
The status is set by you to help remember what pages you have completed or which pages you need to be reminded to return to. The status shows as a red letter on the Contents page preceeding the entry for the page.
At the top right of each page is a set of buttons which you use to clear or set the page status. (Click on the button to see how the status changes.)
When you set the status of a page to some letter that letter is displayed in red preceeding the listing for the page on the Contents page.
